Lauren’s quilting journey began during a challenging time in her life. Seeking a creative escape, she started crafting memory quilts for her children. To her surprise, just three months later, this “hobby” blossomed into a flourishing business. Within a year, she transitioned from her corporate retail management role to focus on quilting full-time.

“I’m a Type A personality,” Lauren quips, “I should’ve known I’d never have a hobby just for fun!” Her passion for teaching and connecting with others inspired her to establish Bold Notion Quilting, a vibrant hub for everything longarm, free-motion, and APQS.
