Free pattern: Caribbean Sunset
This vibrant quilt evokes dreams (or memories) of warm sunsets and tropical breezes. Beautiful batik stars sparkle in a lattice of crisp blue. This intriguing two-block quilt gives the impression of a complicated on-point setting without all the work.
Planning and piecing the quilt
It’s recommended that you read all of the instructions before starting this project and that you cut and sew one block before cutting all of your fabric. Use a rotary cutter, mat and an acrylic ruler to cut your fabrics. This project provides the opportunity to stitch a variety of pieces including triangle-squares and strip pieced blocks.
